The iTero Wellness Scanner is a high-tech scanner that can provide 3D images of the inside of your mouth, as well as images showing how your teeth are rooted in your jaws and any alignment problems you may have. Ultimately, it is like an upgraded x-ray that is able to capture every nuance and angle of your teeth to create a highly accurate impression that dental professionals can use. The scanning process uses a small handheld device or wand, takes only a few minutes and is not uncomfortable. The iTero scanner is in contrast to traditional plaster impressions which are often uncomfortable and more costly, as well as take much longer. The main purpose of the iTero Wellness Scanner is to create dental impressions for any orthodontic challenges. The technology used with an iTero scan does not involve any type of radiation, and has been passed by the FDA.

Digital x-rays are designed to provide more patient satisfaction and clinical confidence, as well as increased productivity and economical value. Our digital x-rays are able to deliver powerful radiograph solutions to meet the needs of our valued patients. Digital x-rays produce enhanced computer images of your dental structure. Traditional x-rays can only provide images in 25 different shades. A digital x-ray on the other hand, is able to pick up variations of up to 256 shades of grey, providing a far more accurate and detailed image. Digital x-rays are also able to access more angles inside of the mouth, providing a streamlined view of the entire oral structure. Digital x-rays take only seconds to capture, and allow for immediate viewing as opposed to having to wait.

Guided biofilm removal offers a different approach to dental hygiene cleanings. Using a touchless stream of air, warm water and a soft antibacterial powder, this method of cleaning acts like a mini car wash for your mouth! By reducing the bacterial load in the mouth and removing biofilm, Guided Biofilm Removal helps to prevent systemic and oral diseases such as cardiovascular disease, gum disease and bad breath. It has been scientifically proven to remove 99% of all bacteria in the mouth and surrounding tissues and is safe for all areas of your mouth, including tongue, cheeks and the roof of the mouth. It is also safe for all dental restorations and dental implants. It is particularly great for sensitive teeth and gums, offering a touchless cleaning with minimal hand scaling required. The technology also effectively removes stains, providing 1-2 shades whiter smiles following treatment.
