We check insurance as a courtesy but it’s best if you were up to date on your insurance. Please contact your insurance provider to learn more about your coverage.

At Harmony Family Dental Care, we want to be as transparent as possible about not only who we are and the services that we offer, but also our fees. Please note that the price of each procedure could vary from this list depending on the circumstances. Every patient and every case is different.

Alberta Dental Fee Guide

Dental offices are not permitted to change their fee schedules and must charge all patients the same fee for the same procedure. The only exception to this is when dental coverage falls under specific government programs, such as Social Assistance programs or Worker’s Compensation programs. It is important to note that if you have insurance, insurance companies set their own fee guides based on standardized codes established by their offices.

The cost of dental cleanings can vary significantly depending on the time that it takes to effectively deep clean your teeth. A typical cleaning takes approximately 45 minutes if you have been receiving regular cleanings at least annually. However, with significant buildup or disease it can take longer. Every 15 minute interval is billed separately for cleanings, so the longer your cleaning takes, the higher the cost. Most insurance companies do put a limit on the frequency of visits or number of procedures, such as cleanings, so while our team does not make recommendations based on the limitations of insurance plans, we will always do our best to work within the limits of your insurance coverage.
