Dr. Stuart Gough is a third-generation Calgarian who is deeply committed to serving his community’s dental needs. After graduating from the University of Alberta with his BSc and DDS in 1990, he dedicated himself to serving as a Dental Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces, where he deployed both across Canada and abroad as part of a Field Surgical Hospital. Following his military service, Dr. Gough established two general dental practices in Calgary—West 17th Avenue Dental Care and Calgary Smiles. Now at Harmony Family Dental Care, he finds true joy in enhancing the lives of his patients by promoting lasting oral health and wellness.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Gough has a truly fascinating background; he is fluent in Japanese and even appeared in a TV commercial as a young boy! His diverse life experiences include living north of the Arctic Circle, residing near the equator in Tonga, and growing up in Balzac where he hand-milked cows on the family farm. An avid adventurer, he has hiked the West Coast Trail and the Milford Track. Dr. Gough has proudly called Springbank home since 2000 and remains a dedicated Calgarian focused on the well-being of his community
